At Celebration, our desire as the Discipleship Community is to come around you and support your first ministry: your home. In addition to your home, we want to disciple you for the God-given assignment you have in this season of your life. Whether you are new or you’ve been here for a while Foundations is your starting point for membership, discipleship and community at Celebration Church. At this workshop, you’ll have a chance to connect personally with our pastors and team, become a member of the church, and learn the foundations of honoring God in your home and community. At Celebration, we believe that Freedom is not a process or a destination, but it is a person – the person of Jesus Christ. In order to gain the true freedom that can only be found in Jesus, we have to learn how to tear down unhealthy thought patterns that develop throughout our lives and replace them with the truth of God’s Word.In Freedom, you will be on a 21-day self-guided journey that will take place during Midweek on Wednesdays at all of our Jacksonville locations. The Gifts of the Spirit workshop is a great class that will unpack the 7 Gifts of the Spirit and help you dive deeper into your understanding of these gifts. We have a number of support groups with people who will listen to you and provide sympathy and understanding for your situation. Our Marriage and Parenting ministry is intentionally designed to focus on the various seasons of marriage or parenting with practical tips relevant for both men and women. Our Finance and Career ministry offers financial guidance through education, counseling, and coaching along with a Career Center to develop an action plan for establishing financial freedom. Our priority is to walk with our congregants through their present circumstances and help them take their next steps toward financial health. There are a variety of Finance and Career workshops offered online, or during our Midweek on Wednesdays at all of our Jacksonville locations. One tool we use to help disciple with employment is exclusive access to an online database where you can search job postings, apply for a job, and access training resources to sharpen your job skills. For more info on the Career Center, click HERE
The School of Theology will be led by Dr. Michael S. Heiser (M.A., Ancient History, University of Pennsylvania; M.A., Ph.D., Hebrew Bible and Semitic Studies, University of Wisconsin-Madison). He has taught at the college level for nearly twenty years. He is also a widely published author in scholarly journals and is a best-selling author. For more information, click HERE.
Southeastern University partners with Celebration Church in Jacksonville, Florida, to offer accredited degree programs to local students at an affordable price and convenience of attending classes in your hometown and online. Students at SEU Jacksonville have the unique opportunity to gain hands-on ministry experience at Celebration Church while earning practicum credit towards their degree. Every student will prioritize missions, outreach, serving, and care and become cross-trained in various areas of the church to disciple them for vocational ministry.
